The festive season is wonderful; however, it generally means overindulgence, parties, more makeup than usual, and of course, the cold weather (at least here in England). These all take their toll on your skin. Here are our suggestions for some skincare resolutions that will get your skin in tip-top condition.
1. ADD FACIAL OIL TO YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE
Facial oils are great for all skin types. Rich in fatty acids and with anti-inflammatory properties, they nourish and repair skin, adding radiance and making the skin glow. For those with more oily skin, the right oils can bring balance. If your skin is particularly dry, adding a few drops of oil to your daytime moisturiser will help reduce transepidermal water loss and replenish skin in vital nutrients.

2. TAKE CARE OF YOUR NECK & CHEST
Many of us stop at the chin, neglecting our neck and décolletage in our skincare routines. This area requires special attention because the skin is thinner with less sebaceous glands compared to the skin on our face and it loses firmness and elasticity quicker. It is also vulnerable to sun damage as we often forget to apply sun protection. All of this is why the neck and décolleté are often the first areas to show signs of ageing. 3. PAMPER YOUR BODY
Our bodies tend to get neglected during the winter when they are hidden under layers of clothing. Those with skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis often find it gets worse.
